Contextile 2024 – TOUCH

Niina Hiltunen is one of the selected artists in the Contextile 2024, an international contemporary textile art biennial in Guimarães, Portugal. The Biennial will be held for the 7th time in September 7 – December 15, 2024.

The Jury selected 57 works by 50 artists from 29 countries of 1.300 artists from 79 countries. Total of 1.505 artworks were submitted to the international exhibition competition.

Members of the jury: Lala de Dios (professor of Art and Textile History, curator), Janis Jefferies (emeritus professor of visual arts, curator, writer and artist), Cindy Steiler (textile artist), Magda Soboń  (artist and art teacher), and Cláudia Melo (artistic director of Contextile).
