Niina Hiltunen juried to the 8th International Triennial of Textile Art 2024 in Hungary
Textile artist Niina Hiltunen has been juried to the 8th International Triennial of Textile Art 2024 in Hungary with her artwork Soft Iron (2023). The Triennial is organized by The Cultural Foundation for Textile Art and the Savaria Museum-Szombathely Gallery and it will be open to the public between June 21 and August 31, 2024. The open call was taken part by 505 artworks, submitted by 368 artists. The Triennial will feature 264 works of contemporary Hungarian and international art over nearly 1,400 m2.
The jury consisted of members of the Board of Directors of the Cultural Foundation for Textile Art and Hungarian and international experts:

Szilvia Szigeti, textile artist winner of the Ferenczy Noémi Prize – founding member of Eventuell Gallery, curator of the Boundless Design exhibition
Ildikó Kele, Hungarian Design Award winning textile artist, lecturer at MOME Institute of Design
Rita Mária Halasi, curator, design expert, innovation manager
Dr. habil Lívia Pápai, DLA textile artist, associate professor at the Faculty of Arts – Institute of Design and Multimedia Arts, University of Pécs
