Exhibition: Niina Hiltunen and Koivisto Studio in Oulu, Pikisaari
In July 8th – 14th, Niina Hiltunen and Koivisto Studio will exhibit at the PROTO showroom in Oulu, how two different materials become sculptural features.
Textile designer and artist Niina Hiltunen makes sculptural works, using handwoven textile material mainly. Light and shadow play on the surfaces, providing a unique experience for the viewer. The details in the artworks give every time something new to discover. Hiltunen’s works have been exhibited last year at the Habitare fair.
Koivisto Studio is an international design duo whose work is characterized by clear lines with finely finished surfaces and details. Designers Susanna and Tobias Feuerbacher combine their expertise, Susanna as a goldsmith and Tobias as a carpenter. Koivisto Studio’s works have been displayed at the Milan Design Week.
